When I saw these fabulous white shoes with the stud detail I knew I had to have them. Every girl needs a pair of white shoes but these are in a class all by themselves. The wingtip style with the trendy detail makes them stylish and outstanding. They are super comfortable and a must have for anyone that likes to be fabulous. The fit is a short last for a wingtip brogue construction. Normally there is more toe room, however it's very comfortable with the cushioned insole, full leather lining, and light weight. My only complaint is Amazon describes the shoe as made in Brazil but the shoe is stamped "Made in China" which is disappointing considering the original retail price. I wanted an oxford with a twist, and these shoes definitely fit the bill! I have owned Pour La Victoire shoes before, and know the craftmanship is impeccable. I previously order another equal ly costly brand of oxfords, but returned them, and was able to get two pairs of these for the same price as one pair of the other brand. Not only that, but these looked better and are made better too. I was hesitant on what size to buy. I own half 8s and half 8.5's. I decided to err on the side of caution and go with an 8.5, and they fit perfectly. That said, I would stick with your usual size. They fit perfectly with socks. To me they are a tad Rockabilly-esque, which is not usually my style, but I think it's cool to switch up my style every now and again ;) I am wearing the white ones today with jeans, a black and white polka dot bow tie blouse, and a teal sweater. I got compliments in the first 2 hours of wearing them! |
