These shoes are very comfortable. I am hoping to use my orthodics in them, but it seems too much added bulk. We'll see. They have very good support in the inside of the shoe, so I may not need too. Other peoples review state they are true to size, but I found they run a bit big. I will keep them and wear thicker socks for added comfort, because I worry going one size smaller will crowd my toe area. Considering most support shoes are not fashionable, these are pretty okay looking. I ordered these in brown and black. The brown leather color is not very attractive. It looks cheap. I am returning these. The black pair look much better. These I will keep.The outer sole is made of a rigid type plastic. This is very slippery on bare floors. I have concerns for outside use during our Wisconsin winters. I expected a good rubber type sole, considering the price of the shoe.
