There is one thing I dislike very much about these shoes: the soles are made of some hard plastic. They offer virtually no traction (it's icy right now where I live and I think these might make good skates), and they make a loud sound when you walk...like tap shoes, maybe? I would NOT RECOMMEND these for someone with gait or balance issues, or maybe an older person who may be unsteady on her feet. Overall, I like them and would buy them again, but I would have loved them if the sole was rubber instead of what it is. By the way, the size 6 was the smallest size but since I like the style I kept them and still wear thick socks. Also, I found that the back part of the shoe is very low and it feels like they are going to come off. I have to really tie the shoe laces very tight so that the shoes can stay on my feet. Other than that, they're okay. I don't wear them as often as I would like. I think they should send a discount coupon so that I could buy a another pair of Eastland women's badger boots size six to make up for all the trouble I am having with these shoes. Is that possible. Amazon see what u can do. I have a hard time finding "dress" shoes due to the fact that I have to wear a brace in my shoe for foot drop and need shoes with laces. These go with work clothes but also versatile enough to dress up jeans. I wore these shoes until they literally fell apart at the seams. I am so happy that I can find another pair! |
