I just received these shoes and immediately put them on for a 1.5 mile walk to pick up lunch. These were so comfortable the entire walk! I'm not wearing socks, and my feet got a little sweaty, but the heel didn't rub and the sole has enough bounce and padding to keep me comfy the whole way. I ordered these in taupe, and the color is a few shades darker than it appears on my computer screen--a bit more of a gray or mushroom. Still very cute, but definitely not as light as they appear online. For the price I couldn't pass it up! There were a couple of things though that I'm not so giddy about. They run a bit big. I normally wear a 10, but I really feel like I could have gotten away with a 9.5, maybe even a 9. The soles have no traction, so be careful walking on slippery surfaces. Also I'm not really a fan of the laces, they look and feel waxy (but I think that's just a personal issue because I've never like that texture). But other than that, the suede is great and they look cute with just about everything. I've only worn them once since I've gotten them but I've gotten SO many compliments on them. |
