I've worn and liked other Kalso Earth lace-ups, but while the trend seems to emphasize a fat-tire type of athletic sole, this shoe is different. It truly does fit like a glove and at the same time allows for movement of the foot and toes similar to going barefoot. The shoes seem to give an airy lift to the stride. I do a lot of walking and standing throughout the work day, and appreciate the arch support. The shoes run true to size. There is ample room in the toe box without looking like a child's cartoon version of a rounded toe. I usually avoid shoes made in China, especially athletic shoes, because they tend to be heavy and clunky. These are an exception. They are so finely crafted that if they said "made in Italy" I would have believed it.

I really like the looks of these shoes but they just lacked the quality I have found in previous Earth shoes. After wearing them a short time I noticed how hot my feet became. I found they have a lining that does not allow the feet to breath. I returned these shoes because of that. I can't imagine wearing them for long. They are narrow, feel light to the feet and are otherwise comfortable.

I have narrow (AA) feet and normally order a 9N, but I've found an 8 1/2 in Kalso Earth Shoes often fits me - so I tried ordering these in 8 1/2, and found they fit well if I pull the laces a bit to narrow the instep as I lace them up. They're very, very light (lighter than the Easy Spirit Women's AP1 Sport Sneakers I usually wear - and except for the heel, they're better cushioned too). They're so comfortable, and a very nice looking shoe - love the light grey color.
