This shoe is good-looking, versatile, fits well, and is extremely comfortable. What more does someone with problem feet (or really ANY feet) want? I've had foot surgery on both feet within this past year, and most of the shoes I had either didn't fit or just plain hurt my feet. So I bought the Ecco Charm Tie in black because I was sick and tired of wearing only athletic shoes. There are only so many places you can get by with big, clunky running shoes, especially when it's quite obvious that you're not running any place. So I decided to give these shoes a try, partly because of the reviews [...] and partly because I liked the look and thought they would support my feet while maybe not looking SO much like that was the whole big idea. Well, I got them and within a couple of days, I ordered them in brown also. Now I'm taking care of my (expensive)feet and not looking so inappropriate at the same time. Great shoes! Highly recommended.

These are one of the most comfortable pairs of shoes I have ever worn. I have fallen arches and can wear these all day with only minimal arch supports. I am on my feet all day long.

As soon as I opened the box and saw this shoe I knew it wouldn't work as it looked so small ...and it as. I even checked the sole of the shoe to see if I was sent the wrong size. I'm a 10.5M and ordered a 42 (in coffee) as I always do in ECCO shoes and when I tried this shoe on it felt like my feet were bound. It's short all over and the arch support is near the heel of the shoe. i don't know how this could be called a walking shoe, it's barely a standing shoe! The 2 stars are for style and color.
