Incredible, December 26, 2012
I have been longing for a well made pair of oxfords that do not break the bank. Sure the price point isn't what you would call cheap but for the quality, you couldn't ask for more. You can see every little piece of craftsmanship that has went into these shoes. From the nailed on soles to the stacked wood heels. After reading reviews I wasn't sure about sizing. I normally wear and 8 and ordered an 8.5 just to be safe and they fit like a glove. The bottoms are a little slick but nothing extreme. Just be cautious when you turn corners. In some reviews I read there are complaints about the turned up soles on the toe, but personally I love the look and it doesn't jeopardize the comfort level. If you're considering these shoes, I say go for it. You won't be disappointed.

Beautiful shoe but runs small, October 11, 2012
This is a gorgeous, expensive -looking, well made shoe. There is some padding on the inside which makes it comfortable as well. I wore these for a 10-hour waitressing shift, the day I received them, with no comfort issues. That being said, this shoe runs a full half-size small and it was also a little wide on my foot. I normally wear a 8.5 or 9 and I had to order size 9.5 to get it on my foot. I liked them so well, that I got them in the tan and the vintage black. The tan is definitely the way to go. The black ones are more of a chalky looking gray with some weird bluish tint coming through in areas. Not my favorite, but a little more trendy perhaps than the more classic tan. Bottom line, if you don't mind the price and you can find the proper size, you won't be disappointed.

I really love these shoes, August 31, 2012
I really love these shoes. I bought them in the tan color and fell in love. The leather is great- sturdy with a nice textured vintage feel. It was stiff the first day, but softened up pleasantly after a wearing or too, which is nice since I hate socks. I wear them without socks, and can be on my feet all day without a problem. They do have a bit of a vintage masculine flair to them, which goes well with a more feminine pant. I bought the "black" pair since I liked the tan pair so much, but be forewarned that they really do look just like they do in the picture. For some reason I was thinking they would be magically "blacker" but they are more of a grayish with whitish stuff. Exactly like the picture. They are pretty true to size, and normal in width. I'm a 9.5, and bought a 9.5. They might be a little loose, but then again, I don't wear socks with them at the moment. With socks, I think they'd be exact.
